Lewis Kopp
Lewis Kopp has more than 20 years of experience in technology and operations, including 12 years of experience in the financial services industry. He has a proven track record of success spanning several different industries with organizations ranging from start-ups through global Fortune 100 enterprises.
Previously, Lewis was Vice President of Information Technology for Avaya Inc., a multi-billion business communications corporation with operations around the world. At Avaya, he was responsible for business process re-engineering and providing enterprise-wide IT solutions to multiple corporate functions. In addition, Lewis oversaw the Program Management Office, Office of the CIO, Vendor Management, Business Management, IT Architecture, Internet/Intranet Development and Enterprise Reporting.
Prior to Avaya, Lewis was Chief Information Officer of Deutsche Bank’s U.S. Private Wealth Management Group. He oversaw the Investment Management and Private Banking groups’ operations and technology. This included reviewing and optimizing all processes including trade settlement, statement reporting, risk management, compliance and customer account segregation. Lewis was also responsible for determining operational strategy and outsourcing non-core competencies of processes and systems to third parties in order to reduce cost and gain efficiencies.
Lewis has also held IT leadership positions in Zurich Scudder Investments, Goldman Sachs, Oppenheimer Capital and the New York City Fire Department. In addition to his experiences in large-scale corporate environments, Lewis has extensive experience working in a startup environment.
Lewis currently serves on the advisory board of MyPort80.com; a social networking startup and has been a speaker at numerous seminars and conferences including the keynote for the Salesforce.com annual conference.
